Kenzi + Daniel | Simply.You.Boudoir | Tacoma Boudoir Photographer

 Meet Kenzi + Daniel 

K + D were first in front of my camera in fall of 2016 for a magical couples maternity session at Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend. Those images are STILL some of my favorites and if you haven't seen them you should check them out! (See them HERE)

This time they came to visit Leslie and I at Studio 207 for a fun and sultry couples boudoir session. The chemistry between K + D is unrivaled! Just seeing the way D looks at K, the subtle way they subconsciously touch to check in with each other and the genuine smiles that they bring to each others face is pretty amazing.

I must admit that my favorite part of the session was the pillow fight! Yes, you heard me right, pillow fight! These two lovebirds brought pillows for a fun and interested addition to their studio boudoir session! It was such a good idea because it allowed them to relax and have fun in front of our cameras which allowed us to capture some real smiles and laughter! Plus we got some great laughs watching them, I was certain that the photos were going to come out blurry because I was laughing so hard!

Couples session are overall so amazing and can be such a great experience. If you are considering doing boudoir but are nervous, why not start with a couples session?? Then you can come see it's not scary like you may think it is!! We promise you'll have fun and get get some amazing, fun and heartfelt photos of you and your lover as well!

I'm super stoked how Kenzi + Daniel's images turned out! We ended up laughing and having a blast and the pictures turned out to be the perfect combination of sexy and fun. Can't wait to have you two in front of my camera again!

Meet Jennifer...

Miss Jen rocked this session! She is fun, smart and all kinds of sexy and her self-confidence just made her even sexier!  Ladies, no matter your body type your best asset will always be your confidence! It beats out boobs and butt in the sexy department any day! Muah!

Ok,  so let's talk about location options... 

Outdoors can be a fun -and sexy- location idea for boudoir portraits. As a Pacific Northwest Photographer I feel pretty lucky to be surrounded by such amazing scenery and every time someone inquires about having their boudoir session outside I get giddy with ideas of awesomeness. 

Here's just a few of the recent locations I've shot to start your hamster wheels turning.. 

1. Secluded parks in Tumwater and Olympia

2. Franklin Falls, North Bend

3. Rattlesnake Lake, North Bend

4. Pt. Defiance Park, (wooded location) Tacoma

5. A Beach! Tacoma/Lacey

6. Vantage, WA (amazing dessert with an exotic feel!)

7. Mt. Rainier (YASS to PNW sexiness!)

8. Discovery Park, Seattle

(If you have some additional ideas share them in the comments! We can also discuss indoor alternatives if you aren't one with nature) 

P.S. Dear Mother Nature, I don't typically care for rain during photo sessions since it can be rough one hair and make-up but if you could please make a brief appearance with some light rain at the end of each outdoor boudie session (and maybe the occasional engagement) then that would be great.

Hi everyone! 

Meet Shannon....

Shannon is important because she was the very first fearless (and sexy) soul to pose in our downtown Tacoma boudoir studio. For those of you who don't know, I've been working closely with Leslie Harris of One Thousand Words Photography on shooting some gorgeous studio boudoir and Shannon was our test run! SO I am excited to announce that Leslie and I are now booking boudoir sessions at our studio! We have a fabulous July Special to get us started. If you are interested in taking advantage of that special or booking a full boudoir experience PM me now!

So let's chat about our studio for a few -with a whole wall of windows, soft even light and white walls our studio is a blank canvas and absolutely perfect for boudoir. I very much appreciate the lack of crazy colors and decorations because it ensures that our clients are the main focus of their images. We do, however, have a bed, pillows, a stool, a red armchair and a few other fun chairs to use during your session. We encourage you to bring an item or two to customize your session.
